How can I get my ex to respect me as a person? I love her / I sincerely, truthfully KNOW that a friendship would be good for us both.





I don't love her romantically right now, but I have a DEEP level of respect for her...





We are both good people. We are like two of a kind... But at the same time we are so different and that's why I love her, and that's why we had problems. I've learned so much though, and I truly believe we won't have problems any more. But I don't want a romantic relationship with her, but I do love her.How can I get my ex to respect me as a person? You need time. Thats what I found. I dated a guy for 2 years and we basically disliked eachother for a period of 6 months. Then we naturally/slowly just became friends. And we respect eachother a great deal.

She is probably trying to move on. I know my ex was my best friend and it kills me to cut off contact, but I still love him very much.


If she dosen't want to be fridnds just yet, or ever, you have to respect that.

why are you bothering.. she really respects you as a person.. yeah i know what you mean just what you described is exactly what has been between me and my ex but life broke me i can never take her back,. i dont want to for several reason and im never gonna... it would only hurt us both.. but were exactly like you described and under other terms she would be the fulfilled of my life everything good and eternaly happiness... but now it doesnt work anymore.. it will be in her best interest too if we never see again.. and it only would make things worth if we were friends.. i only would abuse her anyway.. so its better we break up clean.. i think you should do the same.. its reall hard to stay friends if you really like someone...

If she wants to be friends, she'll be friends. If she's unwilling to be friends right now, then let that be. After some time, perhaps she'll have gotten used to everything %26amp; then you guys can be friends.
