How do all revolutions (ex: russian, french, etc) relate to one another?

a corrupt elitist minority deceiving, and inflaming, the masses into following them... into even greater submission to authority.... just like the obamanation is doing today....How do all revolutions (ex: russian, french, etc) relate to one another?
They're all rising up to break away from a perceived dictator, or just a ruler who they feel isn't doing them any good --ex: French revolution. In the Russian Revolution (destroying Russia's Czarist autocracy) it was Czar Nicholas II, and in the French revolution King Louis XVI (if I'm right). How do all revolutions (ex: russian, french, etc) relate to one another?
The minority is sick of their position and in the end takes the authority but in the end leaves a government with total control and finds themselves in the same position as they were.
