How do i know if my ex girl really wants to get back together and not just lying?

me and my ex girl of 5 years just broke up going on 2 months now and she calls me and text me every day so i ask if she wants to work it out she said yes we would go out have a good time then the next day when she calls she would tell me no im sorry i dont think me and you are gunna work right now i dont wanna lead you on and she just wants to be selfish and work on her and to give her space she did that twice and then she gets mad when i dont answer her calls or text and starts calling my friends and fam to see what im doing or where im at then she ask me to meet up with her and told she wants to work it out nice and slow let it take its course take baby steps so i asked her why did she tell me all that stuff about being selfish and now is not the time far us and she told me she said that to hurt me like i hurt her so we talking and hang out she is leting back in the house now but when we are together we have fun itsa good time it just hurts me that she is like with me but not with me cause when i try and hold her hand she will move if i hug her she moves it just makes me feel like im the only one trying and im very cunfused right now and if i bring it up she gets mad i mean we been with each other for 5 years lived together 4 years i love her and i wanna be her man husband not down grade to her friend i dont know how to be her friend i know how to be her man thank u for reading and anything you guys say will be helpfull thanks againHow do i know if my ex girl really wants to get back together and not just lying?
A relationship is not just for one person. It takes two if the relationship is going to work out. You did not really say why you guys broke up but it seems to me that it has caused her to back of. She also seems to be still interested in getting back with you but she is a little confused. You must set things straight now before you get hurt. Talk to her even if she gets mad, she has to understand that your not playing and that you really love her. Maybe that will show her that you just want her for the rest of your life and her confusion will clear up.

It sounds to me, like she's playing you. Maybe you're a stand-by until she finds someone else.





My best advice to you is to stop seeing her all together, before you ';hurt'; worse -- ask someone you might find interesting out instead. Expand your horizons, do things with friends.





This girl is a bit whacked.
it sounds like she is really emotionally unstable and knows that she wants you in her life just doesn't know how or for sure. she isn't serious relationship material. don't let her take you for granted
